Refund policy

At CK Sections, we want you to be completely satisfied with our Shopify theme sections and services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which we provide refunds for our digital products and subscription services.

1. MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION PLAN

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for our monthly subscription plans.

    • Eligibility: If you are on a monthly billing cycle and are unsatisfied with the service for any reason, you may request a full refund within the first 30 days of your initial purchase or most recent renewal.

    • How to Request: Please contact our support team at info@codekanon.com within the 30-day window.

    • Process: Once approved, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method. Please note that it may take 5–10 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.

2. ONE-TIME PURCHASE SECTIONS (PREMIUM)

Due to the digital nature of our "Buy Once, Own Forever" sections, these products are generally non-refundable once the code has been accessed or installed.

    • Exceptions: Refunds for one-time purchases are only considered in the following cases:

      • The section is technically defective or "broken" and our support team is unable to fix it within a reasonable timeframe.

      • There was a duplicate charge for the same product.

    • Incompatibility: We do not offer refunds for incompatibility with heavily customized third-party themes or conflicting third-party apps. We recommend testing our free sections first to ensure compatibility with your store environment.

3. CUSTOM APP DEVELOPMENT & SERVICES

Refunds for custom development work (bespoke sections or app builds) are handled as follows:

    • Pre-Work: If you cancel a project before any development work has begun, you may be eligible for a full refund of your deposit.

    • In-Progress: If a project is cancelled after development has started, we reserve the right to retain a portion of the payment to cover the hours of labor already expended.

    • Completed Work: Once custom work is delivered and approved, no refunds will be issued.

4. NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

    • Any request made after the 30-day window for monthly subscriptions.

    • "Change of mind" requests for one-time purchase sections.

    • Services already rendered (e.g., theme optimization or custom coding).

5. HOW TO START A REFUND REQUEST

To initiate a refund, please provide the following information to our support team:

    1. Your Shopify Store URL.

    2. The Order Number or Transaction ID.

    3. A brief explanation of why you are requesting a refund (this helps us improve our product!).

6. ABUSE OF POLICY

CK Sections reserves the right to refuse a refund if we detect evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative practices (e.g., purchasing a section, downloading the code, and then immediately requesting a refund).
